West Banks of Luxor

We begin our exploration at the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s legendary pharaohs. You will have the unique opportunity to descend into three of these magnificent tombs, which are carved deep into the desert rock and adorned with exceptionally preserved, vibrant decorations and hieroglyphics designed to guide the kings through the afterlife.

Continuing our tour, we visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the visionary female pharaoh who commanded Egypt with great strength. This architectural masterpiece is unlike any other in the region, rising spectacularly out of the desert plain in a series of elegant, colonnaded terraces that blend harmoniously into the surrounding limestone cliffs.

To complete our tour of the West Bank, we visit the iconic Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After marveling at these towering sentinels of history, we will drive you back to your hotel, ensuring you arrive by approximately 13:00 PM with a lifetime of memories from the heart of Thebes.
