Your journey begins with an 08:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cairo, where you will travel in comfort via an air-conditioned vehicle toward the coastal city of Alexandria. Upon arrival, you will delve into the city's ancient history with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, followed by a tour of the exterior of the Library of Alexandria, a modern marvel that stands as one of the largest and most significant cultural institutions in the world.
After immersing yourself in the city's intellectual history, we will pause for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant to experience authentic regional cuisine. Once refreshed, you will proceed to the Montaza Palace Gardens, where you can stroll through the expansive and beautifully landscaped grounds that once served as a royal retreat, offering a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline.
The afternoon continues with a visit to the historic Qaitbay Citadel, an impressive 15th-century fortress constructed on the very site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
